Richmond Electric Vehicle and Electric Mobility Action Plan 2024

In conjunction with Richmond Connects: RVA’s strategic multimodal transportation plan and RVAgreen2050, the Richmond Electric Vehicle and Electric Mobility Action Plan will help create a strategic plan for the City of Richmond to reduce carbon emissions and improve local air quality. This plan seeks to encourage and increase electric vehicle (EV) use – inclusive of all modes of electric-powered travel.

Code Refresh Open House

Our first open houses for the Code Refresh project were held August 15 and August 17. The team solicited feedback on building heights and types in the different areas around the City. If you were not able to make the in-person open houses, now is your chance to provide your comments! Use the guided tour function to go through the document. This points out the places for comments and provides background on the project.

Cultural Heritage Stewardship Plan Draft

The purpose of this Cultural Heritage Stewardship Plan (CHSP) is to establish a clear, equitable, and predicable approach to identifying, recognizing, and safeguarding the community’s cultural and historic assets. These assets include above ground resources such as buildings, structures, and landscapes; belowground resources like archaeological artifacts or cemeteries; and intangible resources including community identity or character, sense of place, lost sites, and oral history.

Second Street Summit - Strategy Document

The Second Street Summit was held on June 29th at the Speakeasy at the Hippodrome. Participants wrote strategies for bringing Second Street back to life. Comment on the following document to provide your input.
